October 17th to 26th is the Navarathri (Nine Nights + tenth day) festival-puja, celebrated in different hindu communities. It is a festival dedicated to the worship of Shakthi/Durga/ the Mother in nine different incarnations and on the tenth day (dusshera), she is celebrated as reigning victorious, loving, and resplendent, having vanquished all evil. 

Bhumisparsha sanga members will be doing their own version of offering of Puja to the mothers and coming together to be held by the mothers, however they arise for us.
